Now

Madrid, remote at Modash. Moving here was the big move of the year, and it still feels right. August is brutal, so runs happen early or not at all, the pool and the gym carry the rest.

Mallorca is the favourite place, Cala d'Or specifically. Every year for my birthday, same spot, same homies, and the streak is not ending.

Trail running

Road during the week, trails whenever I can escape the city. Running is where the thinking happens, so I guard it like focus time.

The shoe rotation tells the story better than I can:

• Hoka Speedgoat 5 307 km the trail pair, and the favourite
• Nike Alphafly 2 136 km for the days speed feels possible
• Asics Gel 14 108 km treadmill duty

Running is the habit, but the point is being outside. Surfing, fishing, a night in a tent, anything that ends the day tired and off the screen.

Tools I like

The resume lists twenty three. These are the ones I would defend:

• Claude Code

  Where the building happens now. This site, including this page, is written with it.

• Figma

  Still the drawing board. A smaller part of my day than it used to be, which says more about the day than about Figma.

• Cursor

  For the code I still want to write myself.

• Wispr Flow

  I talk instead of type. Most of my prompts and half my messages start as speech.

• Codex

  The second pair of hands on the code.

• Slack

  Where the work talks to me.

• Notion

  Everything that has no better home.

• Granola

  Meetings end with notes I did not take.

• 1Password

  The quiet favourite of the whole list. It never once got in the way.

• GitHub

  Where everything ends up.

Places
